This practical hands-on drawing course covers the first order in the Elements of Classical Architecture sequence. The program covers the nomenclature, grammar, and proportional relationships of the canonical Tuscan Order through freehand drawing of a Tuscan column and entablature. This introduction lays the foundation for understanding all of the classical orders and for exploring their use within an architectural composition.
